The IFR welcomes all rabbis no matter their background, affiliation, denomination, or practice.
Prospective members must meet the following requirements:

The rabbi has been duly ordained and has received a certificate of ordination/smichah, as well as proof of completion of study of a prescribed course of rabbinic studies. This may be in the form of transcripts or a certification letter of the completed course by a director of the rabbinic institution.
- Letters of sponsorship from two rabbis who did not participate in the prospective members ordination or two Jewish career professionals.
- Affirm your non-affiliation/association with any Messianic Jewish movement.
- Download IFR 2010 membership packet
If you wish to join the IFR,
- Download and complete provided application form
- Include photocopy/scanned image of your certificate of ordination
- Include requested transcripts/certification and sponsorship letters
- Print and sign the affirmation statement.
