The IFR welcomes all rabbis no matter their background, affiliation, denomination, or practice.
Prospective members must meet the following requirements:
The rabbi has been duly ordained and has received a certificate of ordination/smichah, as well as proof of completion of study of a prescribed course of rabbinic studies. This may be in the form of transcripts or a certification letter of the completed course by a director of the rabbinic institution.
- Letters of sponsorship from two rabbis who did not participate in the prospective members ordination and/or two Jewish career professionals.
- Affirm your non-affiliation/association with any Messianic Jewish movement and Messianic Judaism. (download affirmation letter)

If you wish to join the IFR, download and print provided application form, along with a photocopy of your certificate of ordination; requested transcripts/certification letter. Download, print and sign the affirmation statement.
Include a check payable to International Federation of Rabbis in the amount of $100 for annual membership.
